Several people have been feared dead after a building collapsed in Nakuru town on Sunday evening.
The four-story building known as Mukoh is located within Nakuru’s Central Business District.
The building collapsed at around 5.30 pm on Sunday evening with the heavy debris destroying two trucks that were parked on the nearby Mburu Gichua road.
The exact number of people trapped in the building is unknown yet.
Reports suggest that the owner of the building had issued vacation notice to the tenants several days before its collapse, and had marks by the National Construction Authority (NCA).
The two women who suffered injuries at the time of collapse were rushed to a private hospital in the town.
